I’m an artist, Michelle Nosco, in residence at the WAV of Ventura, California. I’ve shown my artwork (paintings, sculpture, weavings and murals) from childhood except for a long period where I decided to never show my artwork again. I was rejected, at age 12, from a family style exhibit in the library of my home town in Royal Oak. It took years before I realized the rejection came because I’d submitted a nude. It was painted in oil with glazes, after a Sibyl in the Sistine Chapel.
