Be a part of the story –
The Tortilla Flats Legacy Mural

Prominent artists MB Hanrahan and Moses Mora are embarking on another legacy project to enrich Ventura’s cultural experience and commemorate our unsung founders.

This exciting new public art project will feature the lives of Tortilla Flats residents displaced when the 101 Freeway was built through the west end of Ventura. It is being financed entirely by private sponsors and being painted on the historic 1903 Building on the corner of W. Main St. and Ventura Ave.

Your name or business can accompany this beautiful new mural project in a high-visibility location.

The building at one time housed a bakery, a barbershop and various markets that serviced the Tortilla Flats neighborhood.

Eleven different images will accompany this colorful project.

Naming opportunities: $1,500 per panel – your name or business name prominently displayed next to panel. Individual donors can go together for each panel. Any amount accepted. Please let us know via email to mbuniverse@gmail.com or editor@artsventura.org which panel you prefer.

All donations are tax deductible through our fiscal sponsor for the project, ArtsVentura, a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 public benefit corporation. Tax ID# 82-1691860.
