"Sticking Together" by The Collage Lab

The Collage Lab’s group show “Sticking Together” will be BAA’s showcase for First Friday on September 7 from 6-9 p.m. at the new gallery. There will also be a closing reception September 30 to celebrate the show, meet the artists, and announce the winner of their joint piece “Collaboration”.

The Collage Lab gets together monthly to experiment with the medium of collage, often throwing in mixed media and assemblage just for fun. They often challenge the group to create a work from similar materials to see what each artist does with it. One such challenge will be shown at the exhibit. Each artist will also present individual work in collage as part of the exhibit. The artists are: Karen Barnard, Janet Black, Karen L. Brown, Virginia Buckle, Deborah DeBono, Dorothea Heger, Joyce Lombard, Darlene Roker, Mary Kolada Scott, Janna Valenzuela, Peggie Williamson and Wendy Winet.
