Are you an aspiring young photojournalist? Interested in having your portfolio reviewed by top leading industry photojournalists and photographers in the area? This event is presented by A Place 4 P.E.A.C.E. (Photojournalist – Empowerment – Art – Community – Education) a local organization that was founded by a former student of Brooks Institute, Kristie Akin. Local professionals will be volunteering their time and hard-earned expertise to local young photojournalists during a two-hour fundraiser event to raise awareness about the importance of community after-school programs. A $10 donation at the door will give you this opportunity.
