Bloomsday is charming, funny and a bit heartbreaking. Mixing the past and the present, it reminds us that the only things we truly regret are the risks we didn’t take….especially when it comes to love.
After a long hiatus Transport Theatre is back! We brought you W;T, Judy’s Scary Little Christmas, Pinter’s The Lover and The Dumbwaiter, Molly Sweeney and The Provoked Wife. And now...Bloomsday by Steven Dietz, opening Jan. 17th on the second stage at the Elite Theatre in Oxnard.
Transport Theatre (“...whose performances remain stellar if infrequent” The Reporter) has received rave reviews for past productions: "stylish and impressive ...presented by a bunch of professionals who sure-as-hell know what they’re doing.” Peter Bellwood, Ojai Valley News; "an impressive calling card" Rita Moran, VC Star; "...shows us what good theatre can and must do" VC Reporter; Livingston's performance just astonishes. WIT is our Critic's Pick". Gerri Garner American Radio.
Directed by Tom Mueller, the cast of Bloomsday includes John D. Reinhart, Chandra Bond, Trent Trachtenberg and Linda Livingston.
Bloomsday has a run of three weekends with limited seating, so early ticketing is advised.
