Bowl Hop

Presented by Project Understanding at Unknown

Buy a beautiful, hand-crafted bowl during ArtWalk and visit participating Ventura restaurants during ArtWalk weekend for a delicious sampling of their cuisines! A bowl costs $25 with proceeds benefiting ArtWalk Ventura and Project Understanding’s food pantry.

Local artists make bowls and donate their creations to the fundraiser.

Bowl Hop patrons purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade bowls during the week prior to ArtWalk and during ArtWalk weekend. They are given a punch card when they buy their bowl listing the names of all participating restaurants, their location and the food they are offering during the event.

Bowl Hop patrons may visit some or all of the restaurants listed on the punch card during normal business hours on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th.

Bowl Hop patrons receive their serving of food in a take-out container unless they plan to order additional items off the menu.

Bowl Hop donors are entitled to one serving of each food item offered and the punch card is used keep track of that.

This is a fundraiser to support Project Understanding's Food pantry. With three transitional housing models they can support 6 pregnant women and their infants up to 3 months, the 15-unit SHORE facility assists families and individuals in need of light case management and the 5-unit Oxnard House services behavioral health and veteran clients in a healthy and independent living environment.
