Vita Art Center's art classes provide high-quality enrichment experiences in the visual arts for ages 10 & Up. Classes are taught by professional artists and instructors who design fun, challenging and educational projects taught in a hands-on studio environment. Spend an inspiring afternoon at the Museum of Ventura County, drawing items from their collection. Students engage in drawing projects including portrait, still life and creative drawing that encourage creative expression, concept development, and advancement of basic drawing skills. Students draw 3D objects and increase their knowledge of the effects of light on form, volume and line.

Students that are enrolled in a morning program at Vita will walk supervised to the museum, it's a 10 minute walk. They will be picked up from the Museum of Ventura County.
