On June 5, 2015 come join us at Bell Arts Factory for the ongoing monthly First Fridays event series that highlights local venues and artists in Ventura.  For this month, Bell Arts will be featuring four main events, in addition to open artist studios.  

In our Community Room, we will be hosting an art sale featuring the works and wares of our own artists and some of their friends. There is a catch - nothing will be over $100!  That's right, this is your chance to own your very own work from artists like MB Hanrahan, Maribel Hernandez, Lynn LeTourneau, Jane Peterson, Dawn Reily, and many more at a very affordable price.  Also, previous Bell Arts tenant Tea By the Sea will be here liquidating inventory. 

Vita Art Center will be hosting the SlingShot Art center from Santa Barbara. It is a studio and gallery for artists with intellectual disabilities who want to create and sell art.

The Museum of Ventura County's Tool Room Gallery will be exhibiting Face Value - a collection of colorful expressive portraits from Ventura-based abstract artist Mark Tovar.

Lastly, Connect Ventura, a collection of independent creative professionals sharing an office space, will be holding an open house along with displaying the works of Beatrix Rohlsen, the artist who previously occupied the space.

First Fridays is held every first Friday of the month from 6-9 p.m.  The event is always free, and features venues, studios and galleries from downtown Ventura to right here on the Westside.  There is a complimentary shuttle running every 15 minutes from the Museum of Ventura County parking lot to Bell Arts Factory.
