End of the World After Party

Presented by Working Artists Ventura at Working Artists Ventura

End of the World After Party presents an all-womyn art exhibit featuring International artists from Guatemala, Nigeria, and Croatia along with local Ventura County talent.

The show will highlight female artists including Gale Fulton Ross, Lynn Creighton, and Regina José Galindo, who are inspired by social justice work, feminism, class solidarity, and anti-authoritarianism.

Collectively, the artists have exhibited in The Guggenheim (New York), MoMA (New York), Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Rijeka), Ludwig Museum (Budapest), and hold permanent collections at Harvard and Cambridge Universities. Many of the pieces will be shown for the first time and have never been publicly viewed before.

On Saturday, Nov. 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the WAV Gallery, there will be an artist panel featuring Gale Fulton Ross (Ventura) and Regina José Galindo (conferencing from Guatemala).
