Venturan Artist Mark Tovar creates whimsical and geometric narratives unfolding between colors, drifting, colliding, co-existing and communicating expression.

Encouraged to paint at a young age, Mark began exhibiting his paintings when he won a competition in 5th grade at Robert Hill Lane Elementary in Los Angeles. He earned extra money creating his arts through high school in Alhambra.

Recent Ventura exhibits of Mr.Tovar’s artwork include the Ventura ArtWalk, Michele Chapin’s Stoneworks Studio,The WAV & Gallery, Bell Arts,Aacapa Brewing Company ,Shanghi Beer Gardens and Ojai’s 525 Gallery.
