Born in Toronto Canada, Patty Kennedy is a graduate of George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology. She emigrated to LA to work as a sculptor. Early in her career was apprenticed to Nino Russo father of Rene Russo where she learned all aspects of sculpture and casting using the lost wax technique.
When she moved North to Ventura this technique was applied to the creation of custom jewelry for many of the prominent jewelry stores in the County. This ability to sculpt in miniature was spotted and recognized by the Goebel Miniature Company in Camarillo and Patty began working through them for the Disney Corporation, Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint, sculpting miniature collectables and her own line of miniature sculptures.
After the birth of Patty's son Stephen, she turned to painting as a less time consuming way to continue creating.
