Artlife Foundation

During the last weeks of his life, Joe Cardella created the framework for a cultural, educational, nonprofit organization: ARTLIFE, Inc. He wanted the organization to benefit future generations of artists, collectors, and creative thinkers, and challenge them to reconsider their preconceptions about the definition of art itself.

His own art, sculptures, and carvings are objects of intriguing beauty. He was most closely associated with ARTLIFE Limited Editions, the fine art publication he produced by hand from 1981 to 2006.
