Betsy Chess and Limoneira, both longtime VMF supporters, are being recognized for outstanding contributions to community and the arts.

Featured Performer

Lois Mahalia is a singer and songwriter and a touring musician experienced in playing the ukulele, and the keyboard. She has gained a reputation as a highly talented vocalist in Santa Barbara. She is well-known and respected among local musicians.

Young Artists Fund

The VMF Young Artists Fund underwrites the participation of outstanding young musicians in diverse Festival programs, such as the annual Student Jazz Competition, Rising Stars and other concerts. It has spotlighted young musicians emerging from national and international competitions who have then gone on to careers in concert halls that span the globe. It also features young talent lauded locally for whom the Festival appearance is a professional debut.
