Symphonie Fantastique

Berlioz\’s passionate and dramatic Symphony Fantastique is said to represent his love and obsession for his later-to-be wife. We also feature a new fantastical collaboration of an orchestra concerto and animated/live action film which illuminates how instruments are played, performed live and composed by GRAMMY® Award-winning Mason Bates and animated by Academy Award® nominated Jim Capobianco. We honor the passion for innovation and commitment to education of our beloved Founding Music Director Boris Brott with the performance of \”Nimrod.\”
