New West Symphony Presents Grand Season Opening

Acclaimed flamenco dancer Siudy Garrido performs the Spanish ballet, El Amor Brujo composed by Manuel de Falla. Also featured: Piazolla’s effervescent tangos, Mozart’s overture to Cosi fan tutte, and Beethoven’s rousing Symphony No. 1.

We open the season celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on October 6-8 in Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks and Oxnard, featuring acclaimed flamenco dancer Siudy Garrido performing the Spanish ballet, El Amor Brujo composed by Manuel de Falla. The program will also include a selection of Piazzolla’s effervescent tango pieces for bandoneon, Mozart’s enthusiastic Overture to Cosi fan tutte, and Beethoven’s rousing Symphony No.1.
