Lynn Hanson's "Fieldnotes" and John Robertson's "A Narrative"

Join Ventura artists (and couple) Lynn Hanson and John Robertson at the Santa Paula Art Museum for the premiere of their concurrent exhibitions, “Fieldnotes: Lynn Hanson” and “A Narrative: John Robertson,” on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission to the opening reception is FREE for everyone.
Lynn Hanson’s “Fieldnotes” stems from the artist’s rapt attention and visceral connection to the natural world. The exhibit includes drawings, paintings and photography, and spans three decades of Hanson’s wanderings along the coast and canyons of Southern California.
John Robertson’s “A Narrative” is a biographical collection of drawings, paintings, assemblages, and videos from three decades as a self-taught artist with a dogged daily practice.
“Fieldnotes: Lynn Hanson” and “A Narrative: John Robertson” will be on view March 12, 2022, to July 10, 2022, at the Santa Paula Art Museum.
